Hi, I’m Brooke!
I’m a University of Florida student pursuing a degree in telecommunications on the news track. My favorite thing about being involved with a major like telecommunication is seeing my passions of performance and production overlap. While working in WUFT’s Innovation News Center, I’ve been given the opportunity to work in front of and behind the camera. Being with WUFT has allowed me to tell the most incredible stories in new and exciting ways. I’m so lucky to be able to do what I love every day.
When I’m not in the “J-School” or at WUFT, you can find me behind a piano music directing The Sedoctaves, UF’s only all-female a cappella group. You will also probably spot me hopping from coffee shop to coffee shop, hunting for the best latte in Gainesville.
Postgraduate, I aspire to be working in a leadership position in either the entertainment or communications industry. But over the next few years I’m ready to welcome any unexpected opportunities that come my way!
